Embroidery Jacket for Miss Rodeo Jasper contest

I took a basic jacket pattern and a rayon/cotton gabardine fabric to make this jacket. Sew together the side and center seams of the front then do the same for the back, then place your designs on front and back. It helps to draw a dotted line to where your seam allowance will be so that you don't sew to close to where the seams will be. Cut out arm piece and draw where the seam will be and where you will hem the edge of sleeve, then put design on arm. You are ready to sew the jacket together and line the inside. Be careful of how heavy your design is for the fabric, if design is to heavy it could cause it to pucker and not lay pretty.

Tough enough to wear pink

My daughter needed a pink vest for a rodeo queen contest. I had some pink denim fabric and started looking for a design to embroidery on it. I put the front of vest together and the back together so that I could put the designs on it, after the designs are on the vest I put the vest together then lined it in zebra.

Oh I just wanted to mention the inside of the horse trailer in the background of these pictures. My daughter ask for a trailer with living quarters in it for her 16th birthday, not a truck or car but a horse trailer. Me and my hubby began to design and get to work on the inside, with the help of the whole family, me, hubby, mother, daddy, sister and daughter we finally finished it. It took about 8 months to complete due to going to rodeo's during the completion of the trailer. This was definitely a major project.
